What to check for a cat
- Indoor cats: cover for illness and surgery matters more than theft or third-party liability.
- Age: kittens can often be covered from 3 or 6 months, and older cats have an upper age at entry and at renewal. Bajaj General states an exit age of 12 for cats.
- Pre-existing conditions are excluded, and cats often develop kidney and urinary problems later in life, so an early start matters.
